WIIS Plum Book for Positions Under the New U.S. Presidential Administration

In this historic election, the diverse perspectives and leadership of women have been key themes in the dialogue on the future of America’s domestic and international agendas. For more than 20 years, Women In International Security (WIIS) has worked to promote women’s leadership in U.S. foreign policy, defense, and international peace and security arenas. This year, WIIS is organizing a “Plum Book” of individual candidates from our network for consideration for federal sector positions in the new U.S. Presidential Administration. This project is part of WIIS research and advocacy efforts to increase the opportunities for women to serve in the U.S. government in foreign policy and national security positions.

WIIS will be providing this resource to the transition team, White House, and various agencies throughout the federal government.

We invite interested WIIS members to submit their professional information for inclusion in this resource. Please note that only current WIIS members will be included. We hope that you will take this opportunity to renew your membership with WIIS if it has expired.
