2008 WIIS Guide to Experts

In 2004, Women In International Security published a Media Guide, which profiled over 100 leading experts in foreign and defense affairs. The WIIS Media Guide has served as a valuable reference tool for media personnel, as well as governments, non-governmental organizations, and other private and public groups seeking experts in the various foreign and defense fields.

As WIIS continues in its mission to raise the visibility and influence of women in the peace and security fields, we have organized a more comprehensive and up-to-date WIIS Guide to Experts. The 2008 WIIS Guide to Experts is a user-friendly and practical resource, charting out the regional and topical areas of expertise of leading WIIS experts in the international peace and security sectors. This guide may serve as a reference tool for media personnel, as well as governments, non-governmental organizations, and other private and public groups seeking experts in the various foreign, defense, and international peace and security fields.
