IMPORTANT CHANGES TO WIIS E-NEWSLETTERS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NING NETWORK

WIIS recognizes the growing importance of on-line networking opportunities and access to professional opportunities to members around the United States and the world. WIIS will launch new tools to make information and connections available online to our global network:

1- a new on-line social networking site on Ning.com: http://wiisnetwork.ning.com/
2- a new e-newsletter service which will affect WIIS This Week and JobsHotline distribution.

Current WIIS members are invited to join this new interactive platform to connect with members, groups, chapters, and affiliates within the WIIS global network.

Only current WIIS members will be allowed to join the WIIS-Ning network. Check the status of your membership before setting up your account. To do so, click here. 

To access the WIIS-Ning network, you will need to set up an ID and password. Note that this process is separate from setting up and maintaining your member profile on the WIIS database. The WIIS website and database will be retained.

• The weekly WIIS This Week email will be transferred to the new e-newsletter format.
• JobsHotline will be moved to the Career section of WIIS-Ning. WIIS will send out a bi-weekly JobsHotline announcement alert, but the listings of professional opportunities will only be accessible on Ning. Please continue to contact wiismembership@georgetown.edu if you know of any vacancies to share with the WIIS network.
