Women in International Security (WIIS)-West brings the ideals of WIIS--increasing the influence of women in foreign and defense affairs by raising their numbers and visibility, while enhancing dialogue on international security issues--to the Western Coast of the United States. WIIS-West promotes the study and awareness of security issues by building a network of partnerships among universities and professional organizations throughout the West Coast.
